- 11.30-12.30pm - Making, doing and mending workshop with Caroline Harris. - 12-1pm and 2-3pm- Sunflower planting workshop with Transition Larkhall.
- 2-4pm - Create your own sensory badge. Knitting workshop with local designer and writer Sue Bradley. Using fabrics and materials provided you will be able to make your own unique badge. www.bradleyandralph.com
- 2.30pm- Cello Trio Shena Power, Bruno Schrecker (formerly of the Allegri String Quartet) and Matthew Gresswell will perform accompanied on piano by Stephen Venables (Larkhall’s very own mountaineer and broadcaster)
- 3.30pm- Scottish Dancing – an opportunity to participate in some simple Scottish social ceilidh dances, led by Fiona Grant.
- 3.30pm-4.30pm - Greener spring cleaning from local writer Caroline Harris. Detox your home and cut the costs of cleaning products with Caroline Harris, the local author of Ms Harris’s Book of Green Household Management. Thrifty tips and simple kitchen potions, with a guide to using baking soda, vinegar and essential oils. http://www.ms-harris.com
- 4.30pm - Teatime in the Bohemian Café with Adeux. Versatile and dynamic local vocalist "Saravian" (Astrud Gilberto, Eva Cassidy) meets Jez Broun (Carlos Jobim, Chet Aktins) on handmade electro-acoustic guitar to bring you popular songs from the 1930’s to the current day in a latin-jazz style www.myspace.com/adeuxuk

- 11-12.30 and 2–3pm - The church tower will be open to the public
- 2-4pm - The Church will be putting on a showcase of its own musicians

- 11.30-3pm - The Rondo Theatre will be holding it’s annual open day to allow the public to see behind the scenes of one of the best independent theatres in the country.
- 3.30pm - '5ways' – Local composer Lawrence Reed teams up with international sonic installation artist B Yianni to immerse Larkhall in 'sonic events' to mark the festival. An electronic installation will be played live as part of the Rondo Theatre open day and this will culminate at 3.30 with a premiere of '5ways' - a piece for 4 Cellos , electronic backing and electronic treatment.
This will form part of the larger work 'generations 3' where the event and audience reactions will be recorded on video and shown at next year's festival. This process will be repeated for at least 10 years and create a dynamic and enduring record of this sonic event and the reactions it provokes.
Saturday 2nd May, evening

- 8pm - Local band Port Erin will be launching their debut album “I’ll be on the common” at The Rondo before going on a national tour. Port Erin play progressive pop inspired by the likes of Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Buckley, Elbow and The Roots. Catch them while you can.
