We have five competitions running for the 2011 festival:

To enter you need to submit an image (e.g. a painting, drawing, video, small 3d object, pottery, knitted object) TOGETHER WITH a related piece of original writing (e.g. a poem, short piece of prose, lyrics of a song).

Prizes £50 and £25. Entries limited to 50. Judging to take place on Thursday 28th April by a panel chaired by Jo Dahn from Bath Spa University. There will be an exhibition of some of the work in Emma's Café during the Larkhall Festival.
Simplicity is the key. There are no age limits, there is no theme. Just a picture. Your picture. If you have taken a picture and it makes you smile…let someone else smile with you.

For budding young garden designers aged 5-16. Make your miniature garden in a standard 23cm by 37cm seed tray and bring it to New Oriel Hall on Sunday 1 May. Gardens will be judged at 4.30pm on that day.
Gardens will be judged in three age-groups
Entries must be accompanied by the name, address and telephone number and age of the entrant.
