This year Photography 2010 will once again be inviting young people to get out and about in our community with their cameras and mobile phones to capture images and moments on film. The Larkhall News, together with a team of local photographers will be organizing this now, annual event for children aged 4 – 16 who live or go to school in Larkhall. The entrants from last year’s Photography Competition were exceptional and have set precedence for this year! The organizers and judging panel are looking forward to celebrating all that is good about Larkhall through the eyes of a new generation. A one-off event at the Rondo Theatre, on the evening of Friday 1st May, hosted by Larkhall’s own John Gray. Fun and laughter for all, prizes for the best with three age categories.

Transition Larkhall will be running sunflower seed planting workshops for children and adults, leading to a competition later in the year to see who can grow the biggest sunflower!
